Otro año más y ya van cinco, Emilio nos da la oportunidad de tomar parte en la Sierra Nevada Ultra Trail. Para mí, es mi segunda vez. La vez anterior fue en el 2013, en la III- SNUT.
One more year, Emilio gives us the opportunity to take part in the famous Sierra Nevada Ultra Trail. For me, It is my second time. My first time was in 2013, III- SNUT.
Esta edición serán dos días por nuestra amada Sierra Nevada.

Primera etapa, First Stage - 50 Km - D+3600
Somos más de 30 cabrás. Hemos quedado temprano.
We are 30 goats, We have met up early.
Apagamos los frontales pronto. Los primeros rayos de luz nos alumbran el camino.
We turn the headlamps off. The first light rays show us the path.
Poco a poco vamos ganando altura, por delante tenemos una subida de más de 20 kilómetros.
Step by step we gain height. We have a steep path of almost 20 kilometers at head.

Al salir del bosque, se nos presentan unos paisajes preciosos.

Una rápida y divertida bajada nos lleva al Refugio del Caballo.

Durante un tiempo andaremos por la ladera de la montaña. Nos cruzaremos con varias lagunas que usaremos para recoger agua.
For a while we will walk on the mountainside and we will bump into a few lakes which we will use to take water.
En los puntos más expuestos hay cadenas fijadas en la pared para ayudar el avance.

En este punto empezamos una bajada bastante peliaguda. Se nos hará eterna.
At this point we start a really steep downhill which will be very, very long.
Y después de la bajada un kilómetro vertical hasta el refugio. Un kilómetro equivale a subir un piso de más o menos 333 plantas.
And after the downhill we have face to a vertical kilometer. A vertical kilometer is almost the same that to go up a building of 333 floors.
Después de 50 kilómetros y todo un día en la montaña llegamos al Refugio de Poqueira. Toca ducharse, cenar y descansar para el día siguiente.
After 50 kilometers and a whole day walking on the mountain we arrive at the Poqueira shelter. Now it is the turn of drinking a cold beer, having dinner and sleep.
Segunda etapa, Second Stage - 50 Km - D+3600
Hoy subiremos al pico más alto de Sierra Nevada, el Mulhacen.
Today we will go up to the highest peak in the Iberian peninsula, the Mulhacen.
Estamos contentos y llenos de fuerza.
