Buenos días, A continuación viene el relato de un bonito viaje de 13 días por tierras Nepalesas. Durante estos días nos perderemos en la caótica Katmandu, visitaremos ciudades patrimonio de la humanidad como Patan y Bhaktapur; haremos rafting, pasaremos miedo al circular por sus carreteras y por supuesto haremos un trekking.
Hi guys, Now it comes the story of an amazing trip through the Nepal lands. During this journey, we will wander in the madned Kathmandu, will visit some worlds heritage cities such as Patan and Bhaktapur; the fear will run on our bodys while we drive on theirs roads, we will do rafting and of course we will do trekking.

Without further delay, the trip begins.
Llegamos pronto a Katmandú, así que toca perderse por el famoso barrio de Thamel. Parece que no hay mucha gente.
Early, We arrive at Kathmandu, so We are going to wander into the famous neighborhood Thamel. At first sight, it looks that it is not crowded.
En nada nos encontramos con la locura. Gente, motos, bicis compartimos el mismo camino.

And of course, thousands of shops with faked goods on each side of the street.
Además de tiendas, vimos las primeras estupas, pagodas e incluso un grupo de jóvenes practicando bailes tradicionales en Ratna Park.
Besides shops, we saw the first stupas, pagodas and a group of dancer girls in Ratna Park.

Visita cultural en Katmandu
Segundo día en tierras lejanas, hoy visitaremos Swayambhbuntah o más popularmente conocido el templo de los monos, la plaza Durbar y terminaremos el día comiendo enfrente de la gran estupa.
Second day on faraway lands, today we are going to visit Swayambhbuntah, more known as the monkey temples, the Durbar Square and, last but no least, we will eat in front of the Great Stupa.
Swayambhbuntah es un antiguo complejo religioso situado en lo alto de una colina en el valle de Katmandú. Una gran estupa corona el complejo. Las vistas desde este punto son impresionantes. A nuestros pies tenemos la ciudad de Kathmandu.
Swayambhbuntah is an ancient religious place settles on the top of a hill. On the top of the hill, there is a really amazing stupa. The views from this point are gorgeous.

Detras dejamos el templo de los monos para dirijirnos a Durbar Square. Durbar Square es una pequeña plaza donde se pueden ver varios palacios. En uno de ellos vive la diosa Kumari.
Kumari es como se denomina a una diosa viviente en Nepal. En este caso, Kumari es representada por una niña que vivirá en un palacio durante su infancia.
Behind us, we leave the monkey temples and go to the Durbar Square. This square has a few palaces. In one of them lives the Kumari goddess.
This goddess is represented by a female kid. This female kid has to live inside of this palace for her childhood.

Katmandu - Phokara
Hoy es un día realmente largo. Tendremos que conducir de Katmandú a Phokara durante ocho horas. Para que el viaje se más ameno, haremos una parada para hacer rafting. El rafting no es muy heavy, pero merece la pena.
Today, it is going to be a really long day. We will have to drive for almost eight hours in order to arrive at Phokara. In the middle of the journey, we will stop driving to do rafting. The rafting is not tough, but it is worth.
4 días de caminata
Si vas a Nepal y no realizas una caminata por sus montañas, es que no has estado en Nepal. Durante los próximos días haremos un sencillo trekking que nos llevará desde Nayapul hasta Poon Hill. Serán cuatro días de plena naturaleza. En el siguiente enlace se cuenta como fue este bonito paseo y abajo hay un vídeo resumen de tan bonita experiencia.
If you visit Nepal and you do not trekking, it means that you have not been in Nepal. During the following days, we will do an easy trekking through the mountains. This path drives us from Nayapul to Poon Hill. It will be four gorgeous days in deep nature. The next link tells the story about this adventure. Belove there is a brief video about this marvellous experience.
Un tranquilo día en Phokara
Después de la caminata pasamos un día tranquilo en Phokara. Aquí visitamos la estupa de la paz, una cueva y la cascada de Devis. Esta visita no duro mucho, así que si estas justo de tiempo, yo recomendaría realizar la visita por la mañana y volar por la tarde a Katmadú. Al ir en avión ganas un día de vacaciones y te ahorras la pesadilla de las carretera.
After the trekking, we will spend a quiet day on Phokara. Here, we will visit the peace stupa, a cave and the Devi's fall. This visit is short, so I recommend to take the plane to Kathmandu after the visit. By this way, you will save one day and you will not drive along the road to Kathmandu. This driving is a nightmare.

Para llegar a la cueva hay que pasar por un colorido mercado.
To reach the cave, we will have to walk along an colorful market.
La cascada de Devis esta situada en frente de la entrada a la cueva. El agua de la cascada cae directamente en la cueva que hemos visitado hace unos minutos.
The Devi's fall is in front of the cave that we have visited a few minutes ago. The water of the waterfall directly falls into the cave.
No hay nada mejor que una cerveza Namaste para terminar el día.
There is nothing better than a chill Namaste beer to finish the day.
Patan y Bhaktapur
Se acabaron las montañas y vuelven las visitas culturales. Hoy visitaremos las plazas de dos ciudades históricas.
The mountains have over. Today we will wander on the squares of two heritage cities.
En la plaza de Patan hay palacios, pagodas, ... Es un placer para los ojos y la mente pasear por ella.
There are palaces, temples, pagodas, .. on the Patan Durbans Square. It is a pleasure for our eyes.
Debido al terremoto del 2015, muchos edificios se están reparando.

Tras las visita fuimos a dormir a Nagarkot para el día siguiente realizar un paseo por el valle de Katmandu. En mi opinión creo que fue un día perdido. Lo podríamos haber usado para alargar el trekking en los Anapurnas. Al menos pudimos probar la Nepal Ice.
At the end of the day we sleep in Nagarkot. For the following day to do a little trekking along the Kathmandu valley. In my humble opinion, it was a wasted day, We would have used that day to do a long trekking in the Anapurna. At least we could try a Nepal Ice.
Ya estamos en el aeropuerto lo que significa que el viaje ha terminado. La agencia de viajes Ambition Himalaya nos organizo un viaje por el Nepal alucinante, la unica pega a poner fue el día de Nagarkot y la vuelta en coche de Phokara a Katmandú. Esos dos días los habríamos usado en el trekking, pero bueno, así tenemos la escusa para volver a los Anapurnas.
Sin más, ha sido un viaje alucinante, esperamos que hayan disfrutado del relato y no lo duden, Nepal os espera, Namaste.
We already at the Airport, this means that the trip is over. The Ambition Himalaya agency designed an amazing tour us. The only downside was the Nagarkot day and the driving day from Phokara to Kathmandu. Those days would have been used in the trekking.
